Andrew Kreisberg Teases Sue Dibny On The Flash

Hartley Sawyer is bringing Ralph Dibny a.k.a. the Elongated Man to life from the pages of DC Comics to the screen in tonight’s The Flash. When it was revealed that Elongated Man was coming to the Arrowverse, there were fans who were wondering if Sue Dibny was on her way as well.

Who is Sue? In the mythos, Sue Dearborn-Dibny is the true love of Ralph as well as a detective who worked alongside her super-husband. Like Ralph, she was also a member of the Justice League for a while as an administrator. Andrew Kreisberg, showrunner and executive producer, recently chatted with Collider where he was asked about the chances of Sue showing up.

According to the showrunner, Sue is definitely going to make an appearance eventually. Kreisberg states that it’s “in our plan” to introduce her as “Ralph and Sue are endgame”. However, they are focusing right now on establishing Ralph before introducing Sue, whether it be in this season or future seasons.

“Yeah, but I think we want to wait until we get to know Ralph and exhaust Ralph where he is, before he meets Sue. Ralph and Sue are endgame, as the kids like to say. You don’t want to bring her in too soon, but it’s definitely in our plan. If not for this year, then we’ll see.”
