The Flash Season 3 Recruits Zack Stentz

The Flash is just two episodes away from concluding its second season as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) a.k.a. the Fastest Man Alive has been fighting the dangerous Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom (Teddy Sears), exploring the Multiverse and much more. While we have no details yet on story elements and character introductions, we did just get a pretty dope piece of news about the creative team for the third season.

Zack Stentz (who has written films such as X-Men: First Class and Marvel’s Thor), the writer of Kevin Smith’s episode that aired this week titled “The Runaway Dinosaur” tweeted today that he has joined the series as a consulting producer for Season 3.

Stentz has also worked on shows like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which featured Arrow’s Summer Glau!) and he was just recently announced as the screenwriter for the currently-in-development Booster Gold film with Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl)attached to the project for the DC Extended Universe.

If you haven’t seen this week’s episode of The Flash that Stentz wrote which Smith directed: head over to CWTV.com or purchase the episode on iTunes because it’s an episode that you should not miss at all!

“The Runaway Dinosaur” – “KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS – With Barry (Grant Gustin) gone, the team must figure out a way to handle the return of an old enemy – Girder (guest star Greg Finley). Realizing Girder is retracing his steps from his last attack, Iris (Candice Patton) volunteers to act as bait to trap him in S.T.A.R. Labs. Meanwhile, Barry fights to return to his old life. Kevin Smith directed the episode written by Zack Stentz (FL221). Original airdate 5/10/2016.”
