The Flash 2.11. “The Reverse-Flash Returns” Promo

If you just finished watching tonight’s big episode of CW’s The Flash and want to get a little taste of next week’s episode, you have come to the right place! During the winter premiere titled “Potential Energy”, a brief TV spot was shown for the 11th episode of the new season for The Flash, titled “Reverse-Flash Returns” which couldn’t be clearer: Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher from Scandal, The Carrie Diaries and more) a.k.a. the Reverse-Flash is back! But how is it even possible?!

While we still don’t know how and when (remember, The Flash does a lot of time travel), it’s safe to assume that it will be one heck of an episode when it airs on Tuesday, January 26! “The Reverse-Flash Returns” will also be focusing more on the West Family with Mama West (Vanessa Williams) coming back. You can check out the trailer and the official CW description below, but be aware for some possible spoilers – you’ve officially been warned.

“HE’S BACK… — When Cisco (Carlos Valdes) gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (guest star Matthew Letscher), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team don’t believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Francine (guest star Vanessa A. Williams) share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale).   Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#211).  Original airdate 1/26/2016.”

Catch new episodes of The Flash on Tuesday nights, 8/7c on The CW. What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited to see the Man in the Yellow Suit back on the show, with Letscher reprising his role as Thawne? Make sure to let us know your thoughts and speculations in the comments below!
