Another Rogue member is coming to The Flash in Season 3! Comicbook.com’s Russ Burlingame (good friend of the podcast) broke the news today that The Dark Knight Rises’ Joey King has been cast as the DC Comics villain Magenta in the third episode this fall.
Here’s how Warner Bros. TV describes the show’s take on the character who has also been associated with the Teen Titans in the comics.
“A teen with a troubled past, Frances “Frankie” Kane is a meta-human with the ability to control metal… but her powers come with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.”
This follows the news of the additions with Ashley Rickards being cast as a female version of The Top and Grey Damons joining the show as Mirror Master. Both of them will appear in the fourth episode, along with Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold who is set to return to the show in that episode. Could King’s Magenta be showing up in that episode too as The Rogues are starting to come together? Only time will tell!
