The Flash is introducing a new DC character with a slight twist! Deadline reports that Kiana Madeira (Sacred Lies) has been tapped for the character of Spencer Young a.k.a. Spin who will be a recurring guest in the fifth season! She will first appear in the fourth episode of the new season and here is how Warner Bros. TV and the CW describes the character:
“Spencer Young (aka Spin) is a young aspiring social media influencer who seizes the opportunity to make herself famous when she discovers there is a new hero in Central City.”
Who is this new hero that she will discover in Season 5? Could it be Nora West-Allen a.k.a. XS? Only time will tell as we get closer to the season premiere which is exactly two months away from today.
“Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry’s life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash.
