The fastest man alive finally returned tonight as The Flash is getting into the remaining episodes of Season 2. After the airing of tonight’s episode “Trajectory”, The CW aired a trailer for next week’s episode titled “Flash Back” and as the title says it – it’s time for more time travel again!
We will be seeing the return of the Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) and Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) as Barry goes back in time for a specific reason. Check out the promo below along with the synopsis, but be aware of some possible spoilers.
“A MOMENT IN TIME GETS BARRY ONE STEP CLOSER TO ZOOM; ANDY MIENTUS RETURNS AS HARTLEY RATHAWAY – After the shocking revelation that Zoom is Jay Garrick, Barry is more determined than ever to get back to Earth-2 to stop Zoom forever. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne, to teach him how to run faster. However, things don’t go as planned and Barry is stunned to face familiar foe Hartley Rathaway, as well as old friend Eddie Thawne. Iris makes peace with her past in order to embrace her future.
