The Flash will officially be back with new episodes starting on Tuesday, January 16 after the winter hiatus that is coming up. The CW has released the official synopsis for the winter premiere titled “The Trial of The Flash” following the major cliffhanger in the winter finale a few weeks ago! The title is an homage to the iconic storyline that ran for over 20 issues many years ago.

BARRY FIGHTS FOR HIS LIFE — As Barry’s (Grant Gustin) trial for the murder of Clifford DeVoe begins, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) must decide how far they are willing to go to keep Barry out of prison. Philip Chipera directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim (#410). Original airdate 1/16/2018.
