Ladies and gentlemen, it’s official: it’s my honor to welcome everyone to the new website and home for The Flash Podcast!
I have mentioned for the past couple of weeks on the podcast that I was working hard on getting the website done as I kept getting a number of e-mails and tweets asking me what the status was. It was without doubt a long journey (over two months to be exact) and believe it or not: I must have spent at least 25 hours per week with this website as there were a number of complications.
Thanks to several issues, it hindered me from being able to go public with the website and there were times when I would just scream at my computer, “Just make it work, damn it!” In case anyone wondered, no, the computer didn’t scream back at me. But thanks to five amazing people, I was able to get closer and closer to the day when I could share the website with you all.
Special thanks to Matt Moore from GeeksOfTheRound.com, Dan Schmidt from Acrosstheairwaves.com, Kenneth Davis, Hank Otero from TVFanatic.com and Michael J. Cohen from quiverpodcast.com who all helped me with all the issues that I was having with the site. I can’t thank these five gentlemen enough for their big and amazing help and to anyone who is reading this post: I encourage you to check out their work on their respective website and/or podcast. But now the website has been completed, I have looked into www.hostiserver.com to see if there is any more benefits I can add to my website to help make it easier for your guys.
Now, I would like to ask you for a favor: if you could spread the word about this website as well as this podcast to your friends, I would be forever grateful. All you need to do is share a link or to this website, our iTunes feed, etc on various social media such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
I also want to hear what you think about the website, anything from the actual theme to the way the menu looks, anything! So feel free to leave a comment below as I appreciate any feedback! Also, if you haven’t subscribed or followed the podcast yet, here are some useful links that will also keep you updated about The Flash and the podcast!
Make sure to swing by the website tomorrow as I will be announced the first of four Flash digital comics giveaways as a way to celebrate the launch of the website, in addition, getting the Twitter page over 2000 followers!
With that being said, I hope you love the website as much as I do and that you will enjoy it!
