At San Diego Comic-Con this year, Eric Wallace, the new showrunner for The Flash Season 6, revealed the exciting news that Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West a.k.a. Kid Flash is set to return in the upcoming season. One question that a lot of Wally fans have been asking is whether or not Kid Flash will be part of the massive Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. For those who were hoping for an appearance of Wally in the crossover, be ready to be disappointed.
During a recent Q&A at a convention, Lonsdale was asked by a fan if Wally would join the rest of the Arrowverse for the 5-part crossover. The actor confirmed that he is not taking part of the event, but teased a bit about his return in Season 6.
“Kid Flash is not going to be in the crossover, but Kid Flash is returning. Kid Flash is returning, yes and it’s going to be good. We just want to make sure that we’re able to then deliver a story that the fans love and we’re going to able to do that. So it’s pretty exciting.”

While it’s sad to hear that Wally will not be joining the event, Wallace teased at Comic-Con that he and Barry “team up to fight one of the greatest Flash villains ever.” It remains to be seen when in the season Lonsdale will return, but do look out for him in the show’s sixth year.
