While The Flash season 9 is a go, fans should get ready to see LESS of a long-time cast member. After starring as Joe West for eight seasons, Jesse L. Martin will be leaving The Flash ahead of its ninth season. This is due to Martin landing a new gig as the lead of an NBC pilot, The Irrational, which is still great news for the actor!
While Joe will sadly not be a main player anymore next season, there is a catch as Martin is expected to appear in a few episodes, possibly only as many as 5 installments! It’s still unclear if next season is the last one or not.
