Keiynan Lonsdale Talks Wally West on The Flash with Access Hollywood

Last month, it was announced that The Flash would be bringing one of the most iconic characters from the mythology, into the new season as Keiynan Lonsdale will be portraying Wally West and will be a series regular on the show in the second half of season two. In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Lonsdale was asked about what it’s like joining a show like The Flash as Wally, teasing a bit on how he will be related to the Wests as well as meeting Candice Patton who plays Iris West. You can check out the full interview below.

It will definitely be interesting to see how they do the West relation as well as Wally eventually becoming Kid Flash one day on the show. While it hasn’t been confirmed exactly which episode he will debut in, we speculate that it might be as early as the winter premiere of The Flash after the Christmas hiatus. But once again, nothing has been said yet, but Lonsdale will start filming his scenes next month in Vancouver where they are currently filming or about to start filming episode 7.

Do you think and want The Flash to portray Wally as Iris’s nephew like in the comics? How do you think he will be related to the Wests on The Flash TV show? Make sure to let us know in the comments below what you thought of Lonsdale’s comments regarding Wally West on The Flash.

The Flash kicks off its second season on Tuesday, October 6, at 8/7c on The CW with episode 2.01 titled “The Man Who Saved Central City”.

He’s such a sweetie! I can’t wait until he comes on the show, and I hope he and Candice have a great onscreen as well as offscreen friendship.

I’m so EXCITED to see Keiynan as Wally West. I think on the show he will be Iris’ brother. I hope i’m wrong and they keep him as Iris’ nephew like in the comics but either way it will be great!!!! Bring on season 2, my body is more than ready 🙂
